Dr. Al-Sudais Announces Preparation for Holy Kaaba Washing Ceremony

• Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais has officially announced the highly anticipated Holy Kaaba washing ceremony scheduled for this week.

• The traditional cleaning methods will involve using scented cloth to cleanse the walls and Zamzam water to purify the floors, adhering to the timeless customs of this sacred ritual.

Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the General President of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, has made a significant announcement regarding the upcoming Holy Kaaba washing ceremony. He assured the public of the complete readiness of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques for this important event scheduled for this week.

Emphasizing the immense importance of this occasion, Al-Sudais underscored the profound attention and reverence that the Kingdom's leadership dedicates to the Two Holy Mosques. He cited references from the Prophet's biography, where caring for the Holy Kaaba is regarded as a symbol of utmost respect for its sacredness.

Additionally, Al-Sudais acknowledged the continuous care and support provided by the Saudi leadership to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, spanning from the era of the late King Abdul Aziz to the current reign of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The preservation of the Holy Kaaba is a significant and intricate ritual, adhering to time-honored traditions.
Distinct methods are employed for cleaning both the interior walls and the floors of the Kaaba. To cleanse the interior walls, a white cloth imbued with the fragrances of rose and musk is delicately used. As for the floors, a special mixture of Zamzam water and rose perfumes is applied, and this solution is gently splashed onto the surface. Cleaning is then carried out with bare hands and palm leaves, ensuring the utmost care and respect for this sacred structure.
